With this strategic move, MPL is strengthening its presence in Rotterdam, expanding its team from 5 to 13 dedicated professionals, and significantly growing its service portfolio.
Manuport Logistics (MPL) is proud to announce its recent acquisition of Cassilon, a specialized tank operator that provides transportation services for bulk liquids. This acquisition represents a strategic investment for MPL, as it expands its capabilities in the transportation of hazardous and non-hazardous bulk liquids. The move further enhances MPL’s end-to-end logistics services, providing a comprehensive range of transportation solutions for industries that rely on the safe and efficient movement of bulk liquid.
Affilips NV, a global producer of pre-alloys, asked Manuport Logistics for help to reduce their carbon footprint. Manuport Logistics has the versatility to make this happen, and therefore Affilips now uses a combination of barge and road for its transport from Tienen to Antwerp. As a result, the company has saved 17,000 km of road transport and reduced its CO2 emissions by 16%.
After the successful establishment of Manuport Logistics Spain in February 2021, Manuport Road Transport (MRT) was launched in January 2023 by a team of experienced professionals. Our new team of road transport experts will be supported by more than 35 colleagues based at the headquarters in Belgium. This launch follows the integration of Continental Worldwide Logistics and Grupo Fleteval in February 2022.
